Browsing without an account

You can search homes, open home pages and use the payment calculator without signing in. The calculator runs in your browser; its numbers are not sent to us unless you choose to include them in a message.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell or rent personal information.

If you create an account

Signing in uses a one-time code sent to your email address. We keep your email address, the homes you save and the searches you save, including any payment assumptions you attach to a search, so you can return to them.

Account data is stored with Supabase, our database provider, in the United States. Sign-in codes are sent by our email provider, Resend.

A single secure cookie keeps you signed in for up to seven days. Signing out removes it from that browser.

When you contact Chuck

Email, call and text links open your own email, phone or messaging app. What you send goes directly to Chuck and is handled like any other client message. The website does not store or send that message for you.

If we add an online inquiry form, we will update this policy before it goes live to explain what it stores and how it is delivered.

Information collected automatically

To protect the site from abuse, we keep a one-way hash of your network address and the time of sign-in and account requests for no more than 24 hours.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and measure page speed. It does not use cookies or build a profile of you.

The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes network information to provide and secure the connection. Listing photos load directly from builders' websites, and the optional map loads tiles from OpenStreetMap; those services receive your network address when your browser requests their images.

Your choices

You can remove saved homes and saved searches at any time from your account. To delete your account or ask what we hold about you, email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page with a new date.
